The Ideal Prayer Room for Your Home

A prayer room in your home is never thought of as a luxury. A peaceful place where you may pray or meditate; a sanctuary for you to be closer to GOD. It is always welcoming to paint the walls in a soothing light color and if needed paint the focal wall in a different shade.  Carpets are also advisable to have. It prevents the cluttering steps to be kept silent and if your prayer routine involves kneeling or sitting on the floor it is nice to equip with cushioned mats. No prayer room is complete without the presence of an altar. The space and material needed for an altar need not be huge or expensive. It could even been an old furniture that just needs to be undergone a paintjob and few overhauls. It is always nice to not clutter the prayer room. A few chairs and a stand or cabin where you can store the necessary religious items. A stand and a reading lamp may also be provided if needed. Religious posters, inspirational signs and symbols may also be hung or pasted on the walls but nothing too distracting from your daily prayers.
