Vastu Tips for your Plants and Trees

We are all well aware of the health benefits of planting a tree in our backyard, but it also comes with its downside. Vastu tells us where exactly is the best suited location to grow the common plants and trees we see.

• Tulsi or Basil – North and East side. The dead center of your front side is also acceptable
• Any Fruit Bearing plants – East side of your home
• Money Plant, Bamboo and Bonsai is a sign of good luck and should be grown inside your home.
• Banyan & Peepal which are believed to be sacred trees should never be grown within home premises.
• Rose, Jasmine and Marigold – South western side of the home.
• Big Trees should not be grown in the front area of the home.
• Thorny plants should not be grown inside as they tend to spread a negative energy.
• Crawling plants should be kept away from the boundary wall and entrance.
